After reading an article in January 2009 regarding the effects on bears migrating into cities, the founder instinctively decided to name the company BEAR. The study emphasized the alarming illness arising amongst these bears due to the junk food introduced in their diets. Reasonably, it was decided then that they needed to help people reclaim their eating habits as nature intended.
